Eating Disorders

Reading everyone's diaries I run out of things to say. I just say it over and over; "Try to eat. You don't need this. I believe in you. Your weights not important."
I mean every word. I loathe eating disorders. A disease of the mind that plagues the body, destroys, and eventually kills.
No one should have to suffer. A friend, Amber, asked me if I would rather have diabetes or an eating disorder. The answer was simple. Diabetes. Diabetes does not rob the body of the soul. You can control diabetes. Trying to control an eating disorder is trying to control twenty hungry lions around you with no weapons.
Impossible. Perhaphs at first you can cause a distraction to stop them from eating you alive but eventually they will win if you don't find a way to stop them.
Anorexia and bulimia eat you alive, starting with the mind.
