But The Quest for Beauty is a Beast.

Summer!
I finally went to bed at 5:00am after forcing myself to study for my psych exam for about three hours including cigarette and bathroom breaks. When I crawled into bed my feet were ice. I turned on my electric blanket, something I have not used in months. Because of this I slept until 2:30pm. And my roommate was in the bathroom getting ready for work. When she finally let me get in just to get my toothbrush and to pee, there was a glob of hair on the brush part. She had cut her hair and gotten it everywhere! It reminded me of a baby mouse sitting on the bristles. I was rather irritated, especially considering it is a mess now and I cleaned it yesterday, but I said nothing. The sun was out. It seemed to be boldly telling the world of its arrival, of summer's arrival, daring us all to leave school, to forget the chores which we must do... It only begged us to bask in it and let go of our woes. Bailey and I studied for a few hours at one of the tables outside and it was all so peaceful, so perfect. The sun shone on our skin, the guys came to hang out with us for a bit.... I came home, ate three monster cookies, ten ice cream bars, a pound of lunchmeat, bread, something else... And threw it all up; the sun fell with my indecency as if to chide me. I have two tests tomorrow, some homework..etc.. Soon it will be done. Soon I will be able to bide by the laws of summer.
