I'm glad you're happy today despite the bad news from the doctor, even though you already knew everything he had to say. Keep trying to find a program, Gwen, there has to be something in the US that will take you. Something with a strong aftercare program, something that steps you down- inpatient, residential, day treatment, aftercare services. I don't know if such a program even exists... but it should. If for nothing else, it should exist just so you can go there and get help... and not step through the revolving door again.

gwen, i am so happy to hear you are holding your head up. dont give up on finding a program, insurance is a bitch. you have a very strong will, you have proved that! just put some of that into find ing a program. i will keep my ears open for talk of anywhere that sounds potential, i hear about a lot of different ones from friends and thereapists. i'll let you know if i hear anything. good luck, and keep hanging in there. :)

gwen, i have been away for a while, but i am glad to see you seem to be doing well! and it's okay to admit that it feels better. if you adjust to the "new skin" (i suppose that's one way of thinking it, works for me), you will become comfortable with it. and it's incredible...so incredible...how the body adjusts. you stop binging and meals even out. but getting to that point, that's what is difficult. take care, and never give up. xoxo
