Dear Gwen, Have you read "Life Without Ed"? I would like to get it for you if you haven't read it. Of course that would mean you giving me your address, which I understand if you do not want to. The point of the book is that the voice that you just shared in this entry is "Ed"= the eating disorder. Ed is cunning, sly, and wants you dead. You have to FIGHT him in all of his manifestations, show him who's boss. I hope you are getting some real help- physical and emotional- today. I am thinking of you and wishing you health, and strength against this bastard, Ed. ~Laura

Dear Gwen, I'm glad you're going to the doctor today. I feel fairly certain you will be IVd and possible given Phenergen (which is an antinausea)and probably sent home later with a script for suppositories. Why any doctor would give anyone a script for suppositories when they've been having chronic diarrhea is beyond me; do you know the lyrics to "Ring of Fire"?? Am I speaking from experience? Unfortunately, yes, I've had to deal with the whole tummy and bowels going completely FUBAR a couple of times in college and on the way back from the honeymoon they went completely FUBAPHORAMEM (email me for the explanation of that one)and you feel like you can do in lie in the bathtub and hose yourself down every once in a while. TMI! TMI! TMI! Don't laugh Gwen, you know what will happen . . . ewwwwww
